This blog advances an analytic commentary on a variety of social, economic and policy issues. What does that mean?
I try to raise the issues, questions and angles which should command attention, but frequently do not. In order to fashion results-oriented approaches to complex problems, we will have to distract ourselves from the unfruitful ideological debate, lazy thinking paraded as genuine insight and poorly informed rhetoric which has come to dominate interpersonal exchange. This is especially true in cyberspace where, well, lets say the cogency of an argument does not always rise in proportion to someone’s stridency in expressing it.
